I apologize for my absence! I have missed you all soooo much and I'm so sad that I haven't had time to keep in touch lately. Thanks for all of the e-mails asking me if I'm still alive ;) CSN Stores even e-mailed me! They have everything from drop leaf tables to popcorn makers. ;-- hint hint you may be seeing one of those very soon.
Grad school seems to have gotten the best of me lately, but after turning in a statistics test on Monday, things have started to calm down a little. This statistics test took over 20 HOURS to complete...
Evidence! I worked at a friend's house for 13 straight hours on Friday, and again Sunday for a few hours. Then, I met up with some others from my class and we knocked the rest of it out.
After some small assignments that were also due at the beginning of the week, I'm so ready for this weekend, and for an entire week off during Thanksgiving!
Luckily, I have a great new group of friends who provide excellent stress relief, and of course Raine! He got me some beautiful flowers last week:
They did a great job of cheering me up after a stressful few days :)
And do not fret- I have still been cooking! For me, being in the kitchen is so relaxing.
I have discovered phyllo dough- have any of you tried working with it?
Some of the things I've made with it are a black bean feta pie (recipe soon):
with Puerto Rican rice, and...
Spanakopita! One of my friends commented on the fact that a lot of my dishes are fish-shaped. They shall now be called fishware. These are just a few of the things I've been making lately, but I'm definitely going to be able to post more now!
Now, I shall begin the glorious process of catching up on all of your blogs! Talk to you all soon :)
PS- What's your stress-relief?
